PRODUCT COMPLIANCE & TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR – UK
We are growing our technical team and are looking for a Product Compliance and Technical Administrator to join our Twickenham office. The role will support the Technical Manager in ensuring our games and puzzles are compliant with legislation and meet appropriate testing and quality standards.
It is essential you have at least one year’s employed experience, ideally in a technical or product development department and have excellent Excel skills. You need to have a flexible nature, excellent organisational and people skills, and a can-do attitude. We’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic candidate who is keen to build a career with Professor Puzzle.
Role and Responsibilities:
Updating and maintaining the technical tracker and completing documents with relevant details on testing and inspections.
Liaising with the Technical Manager & FE Technologist to ensure products are tested to correct standards and complete relevant documentation.
Liaising with FE factories and assisting the FE Technologist to ensure product is inspected pre-shipment. File pre-shipment inspection reports and liaise with the logistics department.
Attending meetings with Product Development to discuss new products.
Completing design briefs to ensure products have the correct warnings, logos and copy.
Updating warnings document as advised by Technical Manager.
Occasionally attending meetings with retailers to discuss technical related issues.
Submitting test reports etc. to retailers.
Creating and completing all relevant declarations of conformity.
Reviewing customer complaints related to technical issues.
Ensuring filing is consistent and organised.
Completing any ad hoc tasks.
Providing departmental cover as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Excellent knowledge of Excel and a keenness to learn.
Proven logical analysis and positive problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Hard-working, organised and good at multi-tasking.
Good time management.
Good communication skills.
Enthusiasm and desire to succeed in the role.
A team player – always willing to go the extra mile!
