JUNIOR ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – UK

Our team is growing, and we have a great opportunity for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join us in our Twickenham office. This role will report into the Financial Manager, providing additional support to the finance function. Ideally you will have at least 1 years employed experience, preferably working as part of an accounts team and will be studying for your AAT (or equivalent). We’re looking for a super bright cookie, keen to build a career as part of our hard-working and fun-loving team.

The job will involve:

Sales Ledger duties including; invoicing, raising credit notes, reconciliation of customer accounts, updating customer account details and credit control; Banking duties including cashbook management and banking cheques; Month end reporting, bank reconciliations and statutory reporting; Ad hoc tasks.

We need you to:

Have at least 1 years employed experience, ideally as part of an accounts team; Have fantastic attention to detail; Be organised whilst managing multiple tasks; Be assertive and able to communicate and collaborate with the finance and wider teams to prioritise workloads; Want to learn – be able to ask questions and work in a team but also be self-motivated and use your own initiative; Have GCSE maths and English; Enjoy solving problems (we do make puzzles after all)!

Technically, you need to know:

MS Office 365 with advanced excel.
